Everything Games Room does, in plain language.
Invite-only, by design
A host creates a room and shares a six-character join code. Members join, claim seats, and RSVP. Every room is invite-only.
One code per friend, each single-use. The host can make more. Delete the room and every outstanding code dies with it.
You can be in more than one room. The poker room and the Cards Against Humanity room, the same friend in both. Each room has its own season, its own rhythm, its own mascot.
Scores carry. The season gives them an arc.
Scores carry between nights and reset when the season ends. The leaderboard tracks who actually wins across months, not just who won last Tuesday.
At season end, the awards land. Phoenix. Veteran. Whale. And Drowning, the loser's trophy, handed over with a laugh.
The deposit is the promise
The host can require a seat deposit for a night. Show up and it's refunded. No-show and it's forfeited.
Forfeited deposits vanish into the metaphorical bank. Nobody is enriched. The point is that showing up becomes the default.

More on the way. Each room enables its own set of games.
Every room gets a mascot
Pick its personality and politics at room-create. It sends the reminders, narrates the night, and wraps each session in one line.
Quiet, witty, on your side. It takes the social work off the host's plate.
Who's ahead, and what happened last time
Read the ledger before the game. See who's ahead, what was played, and how the last night went. You walk in already in the story.
